A couple of winter visitors here in Okinawa. Taken with Canon 7d mark ii and 300mm F4L and 2x extender.

Very pretty pair of captures Richard, even if you included a less than favored bird.
I think Starlings can only be appreciated for their markings as I find them one of the most obnoxious birds. Your capture certainly makes good on demonstrating their only endearing trait :-)
I love the Redstart. Although a little bland in color, the eye is huge and makes for a very interesting face. Nice job!
