I don't know if he's a moron, since he easily generates conversation and website clicks. I have found him to be aggravating and contradictory, so I describe him as an unreliable source.

and yes, ken rockwell is a mixed bag. his purpose is "to feed his growing family" - I know, because he clearly states this, at least twice, on every damn web page.
