I should buy some Canon stock the way people have been joining the club. :) But it's really a great thing to have toys that are useful.

I wish you could post some pictures of Iraq for us. Yesterday, on Oprah, she showed pictures of Pakistan with earthquake damage. I was completely absorbed in the video. I am donating to UNICEF this week. My heart goes out to those people. A picture is worth a thousand words.

Its been a great week for me in the camera department. Not only did my 20D show up yesterday (as I said in an earlier post), I got my 70-200 f/4 L today. :D

Does the scroll wheel next to the shutter button "loosen" up with use? Using mine is like trying to push a wheelbarrow with a square tire, you can do it, its just not all that easy, nothing compared to how smooth my Pro1's was, its just odd in comparison to the "soft touch" of all the other buttons on the camera.

I did it!!! I got tired of checking the photo stores for prices every day and drove 60 miles to Beach Camera (in the rain, sleet & snow) and bought the 20D w/kit lense for $1160.00.

It sure feels good in my hands.

Another satisfied customer. Congrats Terry! As I asked before, don't you feel like a big kid now?

The quote that applies here is "You never grow up, your toys just get more expensive." :D :D

YES!!, just think, it took me till 62 years old to make "big kid" :D

Your right Jlacoy82, it was hard to part with the cash, now it may take another year to save for an "L"

Hi I just picked up my 20D last Thursday and I still need to buy a lens. But I am happy I spent the money, like the feel of the camera, Anyone have any advice on a first lens I should buy.

Sure, spend the $80-100 and get the 50mm f1.8. I played with it all weekend and had a fun time with it. ;)

And I figured out that yes indeed, the scroll wheel next to the shutter button does loosen up a bit with use and isnt so 'clunky'.
