Hello all,

I am in the process of doing some product photography with black objects on white paper. The issue I am having is when I start making PP adjustments There is a slight yellow cast immediately around the object. The tint is so slight that in LR the saturation adjustment has no effect on it. The only way that I can fix it is to up the exposure or whites. It's not ruining the shot but wanted to see if other people have experience with the same issue?

I am guessing it's the light reflecting off the black object.

What sort of lighting are you using? It could be that in the what should be a quite strong shadow from your main light source is being filled by spill from the room lighting that is at a different colour temps to your intended lighting.

The ambient lighting is very low but I suppose that may be it. Here is a picture of the setup. I have also had it occur when using flashes tho.
