The intensity in the eyes in #2 is awesome, just watch the horizon as the net appear to be tilted a bit. The glove save in #7 is great timing, nice set overall.

I think the reason the net in #2 looks to be off horizon is because of the angle. Since it was not a straight-on shot and was taken from the player bench. In this case, either the crossbar will be off horizon, or one of the posts will be off-alignment. In this case, I chose to have the left post in proper alignment since it was more in focus opposed to the crossbar.

Now that I look at #3, it appears that right post is not in perfect alignment, where it should be aligned with the right side of the frame.

Great shots.... again. Thanks for sharing them.
In 1. the plane of sharpest focus seems to be the "Blackhawk" crest, which may well have been your intent.
In 2. did you use some local enhancement for the eyes? Generally, faces inside goalie masks require lightening and contrast adjustments for me. In any event, very well done. The eyes are an amazing focal point for the image. The "skate protectors" on the posts indicate this image was taken during the warm-up. I wonder if they could/should be cloned out if this image was to be published, as it so richly deserves.

Great catch on #2, Darrell! Don't think anyone has caught that on any warm up shots so far. I'm sure I could clone those out if needed. On that same image, I did not perform any enhancements on the eyes. Just adjusted exposure settings, etc., in Camera Raw and that is it. Not sure if it is the lighting or his mask, but it is hard to believe how good they look.

The first shot was indeed focused on the Indianhead. I did crop off some of the right side of the image as well.
