Eastern wild turkey - Up close and peronsal

Using a friends Tamron 150-600 I was able to get this close up of this tom turkey out my basement window. He was feeding on sunflowers under a bird feeder. I guess I should have only had it zoomed to 590mm to capture his whole head. But I almost got it all in....

Capturing the color of a Wild Turkey's head and the iridescent feathers are difficult, getting the exposure right for both is very difficult, well done. This lens is proving to be very nice.

Nice closeup portrait . You can nearly count the hairs on its' head .
