Microadjust with TC Question.

I have recently MA'd my 100-400mm mk2 using Focal, had a day in the field and am very pleased with the results. +4 on tele & - 4 at the wide end.

I have now got to do the same with the 1.4iii tc attached but I would like to hear your experiences with differences when adding a tc to your setup.

Did you have a completely different set of values?
Did you have the original values shifted by the X of the tc?
Were your values the same of the bare lens?

I have never owned a tc before and just wanted to get a feel for what sort of effects it had on your MA values.

There won't be any rhyme or reason for what you get. You may get 0, may get +2 and -12 or +15 and -13. Other than knowing the TC causes the change, you'll not likely see any correlation between the numbers.

I thought that would be the case but hoped there would be a quicker fix.
