Feb 19, 2015 14:32 | #2 Yup. I'm an ART lover myself. I had a perfect copy of the 24L II and I really did have a love affair with that lens... awesome. Bought it for 1200 and sold it 5 months later for 1200. A7rIII | A7III | 12-24 F4 | 16-35 GM | 28-75 2.8 | 100-400 GM | 12mm 2.8 Fisheye | 35mm 2.8 | 85mm 1.8 | 35A | 85A | 200mm L F2 IS | MC-11

Feb 19, 2015 14:47 | #3 I'm just over here trying to wait patiently for an 85A, their current 85 is pretty spectacular but I want dock compatibility since I already own the thing. Even though it doesn't really fit into my lineup all that well I have been gear lusting over the 50A. Aaron

Feb 19, 2015 17:23 | #4 Permanent banIf the Σ24A reviews well, I'll pay full retail. I said in another thread that I'd wait for $600 used copies. Now, not so much. I've been lusting after a fast 24 for a while now. Last year I bought the 28 1.8 as a cheap substitute. It is really nice in the center, even wide open. The periphery never sharpens up. And 24 1.4 just sounds a lot cooler than 28 1.8 WARNING: I often dispense advice in fields I know little about!
