Both smiles are great, but the little one in the wagon is priceless.

Very best,

That samyang lens does perform well from the looks of it :-)

Their latest line of affordable manual lenses are sharp wide open and have minimal CA and have butter smooth long focus throw. Mix in F1.2 and F1.4 glass with dead silent electronic shutter and it's a silent, accurate low light capable kit and I really enjoy that for every day and capturing moments as the gear no longer becomes a point of attention.

Your little one is growing up so fast! It goes so quickly.

Very best,

Very best,

I shudder to imagine how difficult it is to achieve critical focus at f1.2 manually with a moving child, must take lots of practice. My samyang 14mm lives at f5.6 so life is easy

They do grow up so fast it’s heartbreaking really. She is now 8 1/2 months old and I am struggling to catch up on the backlog of photos to edit.

It's easy actually with EVF focus peaking. No brainer. I can actively see what's in focus with dancing peaking pixels at all times, so I can track easily and smoothly. The DOF at F1.2 is thin, but not that thin on an APS-C from a few feet away. But even at close range, it's easy. Sony & Fuji made manual focus not only possible but a joy again.

Very best,
