We recently toured downtown Albany, NY taking photos with all of the "Nipper the Dog" sculptures which have been put out. My daughter wanted to write down all of the artists names.

Top notch shooting on both of these.

Thank you, Pekka! I'm sure some members here might have imagined that POTN might begin winding down. But that doesn't make the news any less disappointing. So generous of you to allow us to go along for the ride. As a result you gave us a way to help each other become better photographers. But there's still so much more to learn.

I think my reputation as a Canon B&W man is well established, but dammit this just worked best in colour, from a Sony phone.....

Canon Lenses: 50/1.4, 135/2.0, 100-400mm II, 24-70/2.8 II

This is the same friend I posted a few photos of before when he came home from Iraq. Here my step-dad (who's a physical therapist) was checking out his leg for him. He took a bullet to the calf in Iraq about 2 months before these shots, still has a little trouble running, but he should make a full recovery within a year.
