While camping in Yosemite I got up each morning at about 5am in hopes of capturing some interesting sunrise photos, as well as wildlife. One morning, around 7am I found these two Coyotes hunting in Stoneman Meadow. One eventually found what appeared to be a vole, though I'm not entirely sure, and minutes later the other tried to steal it multiple times before the one started snapping at the other.

Love seeing shots that catch interaction in them, and this capture is amazing. To have witnessed this would be incredible, but to get a shot such as this is outstanding. Very well done, and thanks for sharing.
(please tell us you do have a series of captures though)

That is a really great image. I especially like the fact that the mouths of each coyote is clearly visible form your POV. I also like the way the texture of the fur is rendered.....the fur shows a great amount of depth the way it is all "puffed up".

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I want to say low 30's at night, upper 50's in the day, maybe a little warmer? The one night it said it was going to drop to 28, don't know if it actually did or not. I do know it was cold lol.

That is beautiful. I would love to capture an image like this but I have not been able to sneak up on the Coyotes in my area so far -?
