It has been a week of grueling temps in Toronto; coming back from +20 to -20 has sure been a shocker! We had an enjoyable trip, except that the mosquitoes plagued us at the worse times (just when you were in focus and ready to shoot), glasses fogged up at the same time, and fingers became so cramped and sweaty that the camera just kept slipping from my hand. However, we still had a GREAT trip and did obtain some unusual insects and experiences.

This mossy stick insect was found by Andres on the way from the airport; we just had to stop to see what was around!

When it became unbearably hot to shoot any fast moving insects, I found a snail with a hitchhiker!

Great set Ishrani - love the mossy stick insect.

If you go again and the camera slips, try some of those white cotton gloves, they might help ( ok you might feel stupid wearing gloves in that heat but as they are cotton they should help with sweaty hands).
