I really like the ability to hide forums that I don't have an interest in, or there is so much traffic from, that I just get tired of them filling up the new post feed. What I don't like about it, is that when I go to the main listing of forums, they are hidden from there too. I was wondering if there is a way to have the hidden forums only be hidden in the new post feed, but not in the complete forum listing. Sometimes there are link in threads that go to one of my hidden forums, and if I want to see it, I have to unhide the forum to see it. I would like to be able to still view these forums, just not have them show up in the new post feed. Is this possible? Thoughts? Thanks

insufferably pedantic. I can live with that.

I'd use a similar feature if it were available, but not for the new-posts feed particularly. A button that temporarily undid all the hides at once would be convenient for times when I want to follow a link or view the galleries.

Another choice that lets you skip subforums when you want to but not let the index page grow so long is to keep the subforums visible but collapse the section they're in.

I'll check if it makes sense to add different modes for filtering or an alternate filtering selections for new posts & RTAT pages.

Thanks. I think that it is an option that would be used by many.
