I think they just added "cloud connectivity" so you can print from and scan to online photo storage sites.

Not sure that would be of interest to me but they are lovely printers. Pal of mine has the Pro 100 and it is great.

I just wish that Canon in the UK/EU would run the sorts of discounts on these printers that you see in the US, where they can pretty much be giving them away at times. I'd love a 10, but not at £500.

The Pro-100(S) will cost me 500 EUR in Slovenia when my present HP Photosmart dies for good.

+1 to this. They re going to rape us on ink costs so they really should soften the blow by doing a deal on the printer.

I guess part of the problem is compatibles. I know that they are an "issue" to the manufacturers, but I recall that there is some EU regulation regarding them, which kind of upset the printer manufacturers. I'm not sure if it related to the manufacture/remanufacture or warranties, but I vaguely recall something. Because it seems to be across the board with printer prices. The Canon Refurb system they have in the US is also annoying, as we do not get a source of officially refurbed Canon kit. The Loyalty program is then just the icing on the cake. At least at the moment with a £1=$1.50 or there abouts the prices less sales tax, which is what you see in the US, and is I guess fair as the manufacturers don't set tax rates, is about comparable at the moment, at least for Canon products.
