Or this?

(Rhetorical questions, obviously the lens is fine :))

how were you set up that you ended up at f25?

i take my comment back a little bit though, some people use f25 or something along those lines to show movement on cars...i don't think that truck was moving though :)

Yeah, there are lots and lots of times that I find myself shooting at f22 or f32. When you are shooting at a long focal length, such as 200mm or 250mm, and one object is really close to you and the other is really far from you, and you want them both to be pretty much in focus, then you have to shoot at smaller apertures in order to accomplish your visual objective. These situations are frequent and common for some shooters.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

It is an outstanding lens. As fast and sharp as my 100-400 II.

This lens is very sharp for it's price point, and the focus speed and accuracy is great as well. Surely not built like a tank, but killer performance for the cost.

Lol the OP deleted the first post back in feb 2015... recently rssurrected and taking on a life of its own :-P

This could be my next lens... hardly use my 70-300L anymore... may as well sell it and the 10-18 stm, and buy a few in its place, like this 55-250 stm, maybe the 15-85 IS again, .... many options...

7Dmk II gripped | 5Dc | 100-400L IS II | 55-250 IS STM | 100L f/2.8 IS Macro | 15-85 IS | 50 f/1.8 STM |
Learn to love to do well, and you shall.

I just ordered the 55-250 STM last night from Best Buy (Canada) as part of their Boxing Day sale. Regular $400 CDN on sale for $150 CDN (about $110 US). I can't wait to get it and try it out!
