So I parked car & took off my lens cap on my brand new 70 - 200 F2.8 Mark II, put it on hood of car. A warning bell went off in my head but I ignored it & walked the dirt road. Ha - didn't remember it when I drove off. I will never do that again!

At least it was only the cap and not the lens!

The lens cap always goes into one of my pockets.

The 70-200 is quite a piece of work but it's a little like carrying around a cinder block. But, on the bright side, you're building upper body strength.

So, what's the picture? Am I missing something?

No, just posting a picture, it was a nice day & it was quiet, no noise except birds & wind across the prairie. It was supposed to be more about the image than my loss of lens cover lol! I really like this lens!
