Look on here and take your pick.
http://www.camerapricebuster.co.uk/ (external link) , personally I would pick someone near to me so I could go and play or more significantly return it in person if there was anything wrong.
That to me is worth more than saving a few quid by buying the cheapest if its not convenient.
Plus if you are spending that much its easier to haggle face to face

Camera price buster will give you cheapest UK price, but not necessarily the best service. Or you could go grey import and see if kerso has one?
Ian is at www.flashcamera.co.uk/ (external link) and has just supplied me with some 8x25 IS binoculars. Top guy, I can highly recommend him.

Another option would be to go the Photography Show next month at the NEC. You'll have the chance to look closer at a 7D2 and maybe get a good price if there are any show offers. I've got my ticket and am looking to get a 7D2 but want to use the show as an opportunity to make direct comparisons with any other models. Plus get advice/information from different sources before committing to buying one.

I will willingly recommend WEX, they have very good service and have been around for a relatively long time as an Online retailer. They now also have a retail store, based at the warehouse in Norwich. Due to my location I now use the store, as it's only a half hour drive from home. Last time I looked they had 7DII's in stock, not sure about stock of the 100-400 II as I haven't looked in a while, more interested in the Sigma 150-600 Contempory being launched, or possibly even the Sport. Which seems to be in a permanent back order situation

I would stay well away from DSLRhut.

They have the address of Unit 17 - 336 Kennington Lane - London - SE11 5HY,

COINCIDENTALLY, so do Mail Boxes Etc, http://www.allinlondon.co.uk/directory/1257/109969.php (external link)

WEX however has a great rep, although I have never used them I have read enough about them to know they are real pro's.

I usually buy from Wex, no issues with them but I would seriously consider buying from Republic of Ireland - currently the exchange rates place the 7D mkii at about £1400 (euro 1900 from Conns Cameras Dublin).

There is also cashback on lenses so look into the lens as well and see how they compare. I am fairly sure there is cashback on the 7D mkii and the 100-400

I was in Conns a few days ago and I asked if Canon would adjust RRP in Ireland due to the price difference and was assured that Canon would not amend the euro prices. They said they have lots of sales to people from Northern Ireland at present.

You could consider euro sales from other European countries but Canon rebates, either sterling or euro, can be claimed from both Irish and UK residents. I have purchased gear from Wex (UK) and received the rebates even though I am now Irish based so you would be guarranteed the cashback
I am fairly certain the warranty is the same.

I am one for supporting local trade but my local shop who I phoned and asked in both camera & lens are in stock, but didn't really sound to cheerful. It was more like "Yep in stock, thanks bye!"

This is the best part of £3000 - £4000 Ive worked in the retail environment for 20 years if someone spending £20 or £3000 phoned me Id be more than helpful for both sums of money.

I have seen that Hdewcameras seem to have great feedback, and good prices. Who is the "3 YEAR WARRANTY INCLUDED" from?

I believe that the warranty Hdewcameras provide is their own.

I bought my 6d from them.

Just bought 7d11 and 100-400mm ii from HDEW. Grey for sure but the prices were to good to ignore. G'tee is there own but it is for 3 years.

I had previously used them before for the Mk1 100-400mm which required service and they were faultless.

Recommended.

Good to hear, price is attractive £698.99 saving on most other retailers.

So I presume you still get 1 year cannon warranty?
