HDEW cameras do have proper customer service- must be grey imports but I have had no problem with them, or hassle.

Have a look at Hdewcameras (external link)

+1 recommendation.

Camera comes with 3 year retailer warranty for £1199 (last time I looked)

Just bought the 100-400 from TronixComputers @ £1679 - have also used before and comes with 3 year retailer warranty, whereas HDEW only have 12 month warranty on lenses.

I got my 100-400mm II from Panamoz at the beginning of January for £1472 delivered (BACS transfer) with 3 year Warranty, it's now £1510.50, they also have the 7DII for £1,054.50 delivered (BACS transfer). My lens was shipped on a Friday & arrived on the following Monday.

Hdew are great. Bought my 70D from them. Warranty is not their own but they've purchased it for your protection. I'll post who it's from when I get home.

Just a thought, I don't want to throw a spanner in the works, but have you considered a used Canon 1D4?
I used to own a 1D4 and have some (limited) experience of the 7D2 and think that you may be doing yourself a disservice if you don't consider the 1D4 as a possible option.
As I stated I have limited experience of the 7D2, but from what I have seen and shot it is a very nice camera - however I personally feel that a used 1D4 would be a better option for my uses (mainly Birds). Prices are fairly close and even a heavily used 1D4 has plenty of potential life left in it.
Just food for thought?

Worth consdiering, but finding a good one might take some time. The 7D MKll can be had new for £1030 with 3 year warranty from HDEW

I think it may be harder to find a bad one! Though there was one for sale recently with 800,000 clicks - was it run in or run out?!?

The main thing is that the 1D4 is a fine, robust and fast camera. The 7D2 is also an excellent piece of kit, and probably the best APSC camera going, it is just that the few people I have met who have used both preferred the 1D4, so it should be considered before deciding. Neither is the wrong choice as factors such as battery life, responsiveness, weight etc etc are all to be considered before parting with our hard earned cash!

I bought my 7D II from SLRHut - no problems whatsoever. In fact, the delivery was quick and I received a phone call before it was delivered to tell me it was on its way. So 5/5 from me.

I got my 100-400 ii from Digital Rev - used them before, always good service.

My 6D is from Digital Rev too if I recall.

WEX is very good, have bought lenses from them in the past.

Most of my kit is 'grey' import and I've never had an issue in the past 12 years. I do always make sure I can use PayPal however for added protection for the purchase itself.
