yes it has bad coma... bad bad bad coma.

That is what I r e a d quite often. It would be great if I could s e e it in a photo e.g. of stars at night.

Thank you!

I know a few people who bought this lens for astro work who have already returned them. I hear the coma is pretty bad

I still fail to see how the coma thing is going against my shooting. Kids/family/architectural/wedding

I purchased the lens because i needed a 24mm for random wedding stuff and landscapes when i want wider than 35 when i travel and what not, i may shoot astrotography once every 2 years so the coma for stars is not a deal breaker for me.

Since when did people start calling it coma?! I know what chromatic aberration is, AKA, CA.

Ohhhhhh... The "A" stands for ART, not ASTRO... No wonder why the coma is so bad.

Doesn't really matter for your shooting... however, I know that a lot of folks who do astro-landscape type shooting, myself included, were really hoping this lens would have low coma (like the Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art), and be a nice alternative to the Canon 24L II and the Samyang/Rokinon 24mm. Thus the disappointment when tests are showing pretty much the same coma levels as the 24L II.

I might look into anyway, as it sounds like it's a performer, and I can live with coma... AF is more important to me than low coma, since astro-landscapes are just a part of what I'd use it for. If all I needed a 24mm for was astro work I'd already have the Samyang/Rokinon 24mm.

Just my two cents.
