Anyone using this body for concert shoots? Need to replace my ageing 50D as I think it's not really fit for purposes of concert shoots these days, or is anyone still using their older crop sensor camera?

Still using the original 7D. Would love to upgrade to a II or a full frame but can't afford it right now.

struggles in small clubs, but ISO 6400 is rough at points but it has at least been good enough to make it into stock

It's my 2nd body for shows - only shot a couple so far with it, but so far very impressive up to 3200 ISO. I keep my 70-200f2.8 or my 300f4 mounted on it. Had to micro-adjust both lenses, but it's a great camera. However, the 5D mk III prices seem to be coming down enough to make me consider another for my camera bag...

Is it noisy from ISO3200+? Wouldn't mind if you could post one at 3200 and one at 6400, I need a good crop for those shoots from the mix desk if it requires it

I hear the 6D has very good low light capability and it is cheaper than the 7DII. That's anecdotal, but maybe others could weigh in?

I need a crop for those shoots at the mix desks or other places where the photographers are placed when we have to be somewhere other than the normal photography pit

I would then add my TC to the body/lens, the crop would have to have preferably low noise at around 6400 or more, I don't mind luminance noise, but colour noise, it would have to be reasonably low at 6400, my 50D won't go up to 6400, if I use the ISO extender, it will produce too much to be of any good
