+ 4 on the Sigma 30mm 1.4 non-art
it has sharpness, crispiness and "colour intensity" and good in low light
and it's only $200 (used)
60D
Sigma 30mm 1.4 non-art

Is that straight off the camera or after PP?

It is sharper than the 35 2.0 IS and the 351.4 A. From DXO mark the 35IS is the sharpest Canon lens on the 70D. Also the 18-35 1.8 A and 30 1.4 A both have the same T stop 1.8 (DXO). One more little thing 35 is the weak end on the 18-35 EOS R

The 30mm ART is great for portraits but is soft away from the centre at maximum aperture, so not good for low-light scenes. It is also slow to focus so not great for candid photography. The 24mm pancake is very portable and fast to focus. Quality and aperture are very good for its size. I expect the 18-35mm to be sharp across the frame in low light. It is big and heavy but so are most of my other lenses. I will choose between them depending on what I am shooting.
