Some of the best pics of pileated woodpeckers I've seen on this form. You have done him justice. The lighting, composition, background, and clarity are great. Well done.:-)

Thanks everyone, :-D I just happened to be in the right place that day. It's not often I even see a pileated, let alone get one to come out in the open.

I am soooooo jealous. I hear them a lot, see them rarely and have never gotten anything but a blur to this point. Wonderful set!
