Long exposure B&W landscape

Good photo- shame the sea was not playing along and roughed up a bit more.

Thank you, believe it or not the sea was very rough, the wind blew over the camera and tripod onto a concrete plinth ( cue total panic, but no damage anywhere that I can see ), white horses everywhere, and I was getting sand blasted by the sand getting blown off the beach, I had to hide behind a groyne to avoid the worst of it as it was going into the filters. You can see the bluured clouds that were being whipped along by the wind, and the bouy in the background that was being bounced around the place. But, as it turns out, a 15s exposure does a terrific job of smoothing it all out.

I was very happy with that as I was going for a serene/industrial juxtaposition, it's very rare I get the chance to go and take pictures, so I was gutted when I got to the coast and saw how rough the sea was, but as it turns out, not a problem

I agree the water doesn't look as blurred as I would've have liked to see.
