When we visited last, we only had a P&S and iPhones. One of my most favorite places!

Nice photos !

In case you don't know, you have a wonderful tool to visit Paris by Arnaud Frich : "Paris 26 Gigapixels" http://www.arnaudfrichphoto.com/paris-26-gigapixels.htm (external link)
You might like photos and panos of Paris by Arnaud. (Just Click on "Paris en panoramique" or on "Paris en format classique" on the right of the website'spage)

Glad to discover some of you, such as Alexander J.E. Bradley, are living and photographying next to my home. The world is small.

That gun at the end of the article is really strange. Imagine finding something like that accidently in your image.

That could very well be deliberate. I think they're interesting. Makes me look harder.

It's a strange one to me. Something about it doesn't look right. Could be the resolution. If it is a functional pistol, perhaps someone hunting pigeons unintentionally dropped it. :)

Canons to the left, Canons to the right,
We hold our L glass toward the light,
Digitizing in a snap reflective glory
That will forever tell our imaged story.

No,saea501.
I shaked my camera - which was on manual hyperfocal focus so everything from 1,50m to infinite was in focus - in order to blurr the shot.
(Blurring the shot helps me appreciate the differents existing lights i face at night in Paris's Streets.)

Below, you can see a normal shot and an purposely blurred one of the same restaurant-café by night. Hope it can help.

@advaitin
page 3 #37 - I like the bedroom of Van Gogh in Arles (South of France) by Van Gogh.
Could be sold today for 50 millions euros when one knows he spent his life in extreme poverty...
In Auvers-sur-Oise (near Paris) where he died and is buried, his bedroom is still the same today and can be visited for 6€.
