Heavily edited in Lightroom shot of my favorite cow in pretty bad lighting. Taken with a 70-200 F/4 L attached to a 60D in somewhat incapable hands. :D I guess in technicalities this is not wildlife, but in the same respect she's definitely not a pet either. Hope that is okay. :D

This is an exceptionally beautiful image. I love the monochromatic look you achieved here. And I also love the diagonal branch that transects the frame vertically - that adds important context without blocking anything important....and it also fits in with the "shades of brown" color palette.

Larry, that is really, really awesome! One of the best 3 species shots I've seen.
Maybe that will even find its way into your POTN gallery?!

Here's a pair - both "in the background" and "in the foreground". I love it when the critters give you time to try a variety of different compositions!

Thanks Tom. Sometimes you get lucky.
What's the significance of putting the image in my gallery?

The gallery serves as a POTN-specific portfolio. It's a great way for other members to check out a sampling of your work - with one click, and without having to leave the site. Before I made the suggestion, you had already put one image into your POTN gallery, so I suppose you already saw some benefit/significance to doing so.
