DigitalRev, Anybody order from them

What was your experience with your order and were you happy with them.

After googling seems like not a good idea to order from them.

I have loads of gear from them, never had a problem. Though I have also not had any reason to send anything back so cannot say about any returns policy stuff.

I love their videos!

I know I've read some threads in this forum about bad experiences. You could try looking them up. I'd do it for you, but it's a bit tedious on my phone to collect the links.

Google is wrong about this; I'm assuming you found those reports regarding the incorrect serial numbers or whatever it was that caused a stir a couple of years back. DRev put those things right (and went out of their way to do so if I recall correctly). I've ordered from them once, and returned to them as well. Nothing wrong at all.

Haven't used them myself, but on a Fuji forum I visit a number of members purchased from them and were satisfied.

I've ordered loads from them, 600D, 7D, lenses, my 70-200 2.8II came from them. I never had bother, until I ordered a TOkina 11-16 and it got held up at customs because they said DR valued the lens wrong. I had to supply documentation and didn't get the lens for over a week. Everntually got all sorted out and I didn't need to pay anything but the woman at customs said they had been experiencing this from them a lot and were holding everything coming into the UK. Naturally I stopped ordering from them because of that and the stigma attached to grey import items and how low the used prices are.

If you don't have a US or UK warranty card with anything you buy you pretty much need to take a serious loss when sold on. I think it's utterly bonkers to be fair but that's the nature of the beast.
