Sorry if this is stupid but here I go...

Started thinking custom WB might be appropriate in certain situations I have been in lately. The question is this.
If I am going to use my Flash should I only use the "Flash" WB setting?

I usually set my G6 to the "Flash" WB setting when I'm using the 420EX to help minimize the shutter lag. (I may be wrong, but I assume the camera has to analyze the lighting after you press the shutter release if you Auto White Balance.)
