NASCAR - Las Vegas Sprint Cup Practice

Sharp... Will you share the gear you used?? We're you on the pit wall?

I used a Canon 1DX and a 300mm f/2.8. ISO 100, SS I think was around 100 at F13 or close to that. I shot hand held all day. All I had was the Neon Garage pass that lets you shoot from pit road. They keep you back from pit wall about 20 feet. 2 years ago they let you shoot from pit wall, then last year behind a yellow line and this year behind the second yellow line. I probably won't go back. It's very difficult to take pictures when the access is so limited.

my request fir a credential was accepted for California speedway... this will be my first NASCAR event. What are the different levels of acess? and are there seperate applications? or is it first come first serve type thing??
