We get a visit from this woodpecker almost every day.
T2i, EF-s 18-200mm @ 200mm

Edit: It looks like this is a male Northern Flicker woodpecker.

Maybe next time he will give you a better view, if you ask nicely! Still better than any Flicker shot of mine!

Thanks for posting. We will sometimes get a Northern Flicker in my area. I love them. I keep trying to get one to come into my bird feeders, but I have not luck in doing so. When we get them I believe they are just passing through. Beautiful birds!!!!

Very nice capture. Haven't seen any of these Flickers, however a Red Bellied Woodpecker has been visiting.
