Birthday Cake

Saw this idea on another website, and decided to give it a try. Not the greatest shot. The house lighting isn't the greatest so I bounced the flash off my 430EXII of the ceiling.

You should see the our house lights ugh ! The cake still looks awesome even with the crappy lights I just love the toilet tissue , was it hard to make ? I really suck at cake decorating *sigh*

HaHa - nice job all the way around.

It's homemade fondant icing. Didn't like the stuff I tried in the store so I did some experimentation myself and came up with that. Not too shabby I suppose.

Did it turn out just as hard as the store bought stuff? Can't stand fondant really. Just give me regular icing!

No. It was much softer. I can't stand the stuff from the store either.
