My Canon is the 2nd DSLR I've owned. The first one was a Nikon D80. In general I'm still a newborn when it comes to using this kind of camera and am in the process of trying to use it well and understand its capabilities. I have returned to photography as a hobby after many years. My first (and only) serious camera before the DSLR craze hit was an old Pentax Spotmatic, which I bought in 1967 and got pretty good with.

Between the Canon and desktop editing software, a whole world exists. I doubt if I'll live long enough to fully understand it all! :-)

The T3i was the first DSLR that we purchased as a family. It initially did not get much use but my youngest started to get into T&F and XC so I started taking it out for sports photos and then began to realize how much I enjoyed photography in general.
