IMAGE: http://www.samiad.co.uk/gallery/photos/10D/Ladysmith_Kimberly.jpg

This was taken near the City Hall buildings in Cardiff, opposite the Winter Wonderland exhibition.

The statue is in memory of all the Welshmen who died in South Africa between 1899-1902.

I would appreciate any comments on the photo.

My website (link in signature) has google earth locations for this photo, and most other photos on my site.

Thanks for looking.

Lighting on the subjects is excellent and the exposure and color balance seem to be on the mark.

The sky wasn't doing you any favors that day, but the overall picture is very pleasing and interesting.

Thanks,

Bob

Thanks for the subject edit. This photo was (I think) the last one my 28-135 Canon ever took, before selling it.

As Bob said, the exposure is spot on. The detail shown in the statue is excellent. Interesting composition too; not your run-of-the-mill statue shot. Well done.

Interesting that the sky colour is almost exactly the same as this forum colour!
