As i am about to upgrade my wedding bag to fit my equipment, I like to know what you use to store your equipment.

I am currently using a Kata 33N-3 bag but can't fit all my gears in.

I am thinking of getting a ThinkTank Security v2 or a Pelican 1620. Love to have a trolley to lessen the load on my shoulders.

I am trying to fit,
2x 5d3
1x 1dx
70-200 II
24L,35L,85L,100L
16-35L, 24-70L

if i can squeeze in my Elinchrom Quadra, it will be a bonus.

Thank you for sharing.

I use the TT Security V2.0, here's what I fit in it:

2x LED Flashlights
1x windproof butane torch (for lightning sparklers/lanterns)
100L Macro
70-200 f2.8 IS II
50 1.8 backup
Extension tube set (all 3 tubes)
Fong Dome
3 x speedlites
1 x 26" Octabox with bracket, front cover etc (Westcott RapidBox)
4 x YN622
2 x LP-E6
Speedlite feet
Roll of Gaffer tape
Rokinon 14mm f2.8
Small 5 in 1 reflector

I can see how fitting 2 ungripped 5d3 and the lenses would work, but I think the 1DX and Strobe might be pushing it. The thing would also be bloody heavy that fully loaded.

The 70-200 fits very precariously vertically, because of the handles it only fits in 1 cubby in the bag.

You can fit these in the TT Security V2 as long as cameras don't have any lens mounted to it.
I fit 2x 5d3, 24l, 35l, 50l, 16-35l, 100l, 70-200, 24-70 and 2 or 3 600EX. The 70-200 can stand vertical in this bag so it saves quiet a lot of space.
I also have a Tamrac rolling bag that could fit even more than the V2.

They will be hella heavy though.

You'll easily fit all that into a TT Security V2, bit tight on the top two cameras if they are both gripped but they will fit.
Probably get the Quadra in there as well - with room to spare.
This is what was in mine today

Another vote for a big think tank rolling bag - can't remember what model but if you search the wedding forum for one of the similar threads you'll find out.

thank you all for input.
I have already got the 1614 pelican. not fitting a lot of things in there but i guess, i am happy.

i can use it as a "sandbag" to weight down my lights. prevent my lights from dropping against strong wind.

few weeks back, my bag pack was almost run over by a car reversing behind me. I should not have left my gear bag behind a parked car.
any way, all safe. so the pelican case should be able to withstand car from rolling it over. :)

in the pelican case, currently only able to fit my
70-200 2.8, 100L, 35L, 16-35L, 1x 5d3 (backup) and 2x600ex-rt.

1dx, 1x5d3 with 85L and 24L stays outside the case as i will be using it. i can change the lens as i move along the day. think it will work.
still have my KATA bag to hold my lights etc.

Thanks.

your gonna laugh but i swear it works. and it fits in airlines overhead compartments

I use this husky rolling tool bag from Home depot. It costs $69.00 and it holds

2 5D3's
1 7D2

17-55 and 11-16, 135L, 35L, 50L, 85 1.8 and a 70-200 are in a bag at bottom of case.

my fish eye, macro, 17-35 and 24-105 4 speed lights, 4 YN622 triggers all in the 2nd bag and I can zip the thing closed to go into the overhead on the plane.

when im shooting i have 3 cameras ready to go and all i have to do is reach down and grab the one i want... so super easy

I dont need my bag to say think tank or anything else. I just need it to protect my gear and make it easy to get around. I roll everything. super easy

I have a pelican 1560 that i put all my ocf stuff inside and i check that when i fly but also easy to keep all my lighting in one place for regular work. it holds 2 cl360,s a cl180, triggers, batteries, video lights, and a bunch of other crap that comes along

It's a Hähnel Ventra 8, works well however can only charge batteries in pairs, not a problem really though.

Yea, I don't usually charge an odd number anyway. Thanks!

A Pelican 1524 for 2 cameras and 6 lenses. A Pelican 1614 for monolights, VML and related accessories. Two lightstand bags holding 4 lightstands and 3 umbrellas. A bigger light stand bag (external link) to hold 2 tripods and a monopod.

And I just bought this to hold EVERYTHING else (B&H deal zone @ $90):
