Hi both, have you compared the 60mm to the 56mm ? I was thinking of getting a longer lens for mine as I only have a 18/35 combo. I'm not bothered about cost, just the best lens for that focal length. I shoot my 35 at F2 to F2.8 and would probably do the same with the longer lens too. How much quicker is the 56mm to focus that the 60mm, and what about accuracy ?
@ Bent Toe, I have many many missed shots like you posted. I hadn't noticed a pattern, but, I've since slowed down and am using single shot ( even on slow moving subjects like my 2 year old ) which seems to fare better than continuous focus ( which I used exclusively on my 7D ).
Anyone using filters ? I had the Hitech Colby Brown landscape set. They were "used" when they should have been brand new. I paid over £200 for them and ended up sending them back. It's why I've hardly used my X Pro1, I initially got it as a walkaround carry everywhere camera due to having a baby and lots of other things to carry too.
Thanks

I found this review useful. I'm planning to get the XF60 for macro use only....and maybe some occasional portrait.
