Hey guys,

Finally making the jump into calibrating my screen. My friend is also interested in it. The Spyder4Pro states it can calibrate "multiple monitors" but doesn't state how many.

Can I purchase one and share it with my friend to calibrate both of our screens? How many monitors can be calibrated? I'm probably interested in calibrating both my laptop and desktop monitor, and my friend may be doing just 1 or 2 also.

Any feedback and experience with screen calibration would be great!

I think when it says multiple monitors it means more than one monitor attached to the same computer, although how it does this I have no idea
I use a spider( not the 4Pro) and calibrate two separate computers without any problem, given that you load the Spider software onto the computer you can calibrate an infinite number of computers, whether its legal in terms of the licence to loan it to someone else I don't know

I don't use multiple monitors on a single computer, so that's no issue. But thank you for answering my question regarding calibrating separate computers! Do you re-calibrate frequently? From what I was told, it's recommended to re-calibrate every 1-2 months. For some reason, I see myself doing it every 6 months or so due to laziness. haha

Mine is set to recalibrate every 3 months ( you can change the period in in the setup ) but TBH I don't see a lot , if any , drift.
You do have the option to check the calibration so you can get an idea from doing that until you see a difference

Honestly, that shouldn't be a problem with modern monitors.
