Lightroom, GPS, Canon 6D

I am having an problem getting my GPS recorded data into Lightroom. I have a Canon 6D and have gone through the GPS set up and when I check the data (in camera) it shows that it is there. When I import the files to Lightroom there is exif data there, but when I click the GPS setting, nothing shows. Is there something that I need to do to get it to show or an import setting that I am not seeing?

Just to confirm what you mean, is the GPS and altitude information not showing in the "metadata" section in the library module? If it isn't, find the original file on the computer and look at the EXIF information on that. Does the original file on the computer have GPS data?
