I don't have a 7D2 (yet) but I did get the 5D Mark III Experience by Douglas Klostermann and found it to be a great reference. He also provides updates free of charge when they come out.

You do realize, do you not, that the 7D mk II pdf operators manual that you can download from canon has far more information than the printed version that you get with the camera?

That would be where I would start.

I read through the Canon manual.. and then purchased the first one on your list. It's very well done. I have David Busch's book on order but who knows when or if it will be published.. It's over a month late now.

I too have purchased it and just havent read it.
I dont read books and I am a computer guy. I am used to say a PDF or Word Doc where you scroll down... the Kindle Reader you go like a book tabbing left and right.. for some reason that bothers me.. oh well I will get to read it hopefully this weekend.

FYI the author of the first book also has a free download as XLS or PDF as a quick reference starting point for say sports or landscape, etc.
I tried the sports layout and meh didnt work for me... but I have to read through more...
