I like the pic a lot, but a little too much skin texture on her right side for my taste. I would have used a wider aperture to blur out her right side.

The lighting, exposure and focus are quite good but the framing is a bit awkward. I would have not zoomed in so much and also would have set the head more to the right...her cheek is too close to the left edge.

I like but drop the clarity a bit on her skin. There's detail, then there's too much detail.

Overall, I like the image - the exposure and lighting is nicely donee.

In my view, the framing is too tight, especailly on image left - I think that the image would be improved by allowing that shadow some space - there is a cheek there, and even if you can't see it, it gives balance to the face if it is in shot.

I don't mind a bit of skin detail, but it looks to be a bit selective. There are some patches that appear to be smoother than others, whether from make up or fixing/healing/cloning blemishes, I'm not sure. Once I saw them, they are more apparent to me. The easiest fix would probably be to decrease the clarity on the skin overall, to avoid having patches of more and less detail.

Cheers, Damien

For the most part I'd have to agree with what has already been said.
The light green areas are the really noticeable editing spots and the light
blue area there seems to be some sort of dark area/birth mark or something.
As a whole, for me it might be a little non dramatic or flat looking and where
she has her hair pushed up in the upper right corner seems a little weird.
I had probably some foolish ideas to add to what you have already done,
so the examples will show!

:-) The whole time I was looking at this image I couldn't get out of my head
some commercial from a long, long time ago about some French accented
guy going on about how 'she has such pouty lips'! That's all I remember about it.

After looking at all the edits I think the biggest issue for me is the crop. It is very tight and the partial hand amputation probably wasn't the best choice. I do like the lighting.

Certainly not any room left for framing!

Awesome! I really appreciate all the input. Glad to see my lighting is acceptable. I may have a shot that isn't as tightly cropped. If so, I'll edit and post later!

I'd either put the hand in or out, not partial - it has no purpose if cut off.

I'd actually show more of that side of the image, and crop only from the bottom and left side, leave the right side (the hand) completely in the image.
