I'm wondering what the best bang for the buck is with inkjet photo prints? I prefer the look of lab metallic photo prints mostly and wondering what I can do on my own with my own Canon Pro-10 I recently received. So far, the Canon papers are very nice and I've been amazed with the overall quality of them. Would like something comparable in price with more of a metallic look to them. Thanks for any input :)

does that even work with pigment iinks? I just got a pigment printer but have not had the chance to print on anything but luster and art paper. As far as I can tell pigment ink is opaque and the effect would be lost. My guess. But I'll comment back when I do print on it.

As far as metallics for inkjets its hard to replicate the kodak lab prints. it is a different paper, but I heard that Moabs, Red river's metallics are good. Stay away from the kodak inkjet as its not the same paper,, still metallic, still bought it. To me its almost there, but for the money..eh you could look elsewhere.

Again for pigment printers, go look at all the matte thru luster.

just google for metallic photo paper, there are several options out there. Doesn't look exactly like printed on metal, but with the right photo it looks quite nice! Some companies offer sample packages, probably a better bet so you can try and see what works best for your printer and purposes.

I usually print on Kodak Endura Metallic paper for normal photo prints and I'm looking for something similar in a inkjet print

I have a few Epson Printers, 4800 to 9900.

I print a lot on:
Chromajet Metallic Pearl.

Love using it. just get the right profiles. The pics really pop and the yellows look like gold.
