Well.. i've played around with it the whole day really.. first impressions are mixed.
First off, the AF is having trouble locking focus on the subjects i pick.. this is not a problem regarding AF speed, it's perfectly fine and works just as i expected.
No, it is that the focus does not lock on where i have my focus square.
Look at these photos:
This one i had a green focus square on the blue scarf

It got no problem locking, and getting the focus on larger things, but on thinner things like the ones above or the blue part on the scarf... not working.
I've got 30 more shots with failed focus. I doubt it has to do with how close i am, i believe it's minimum focus distance of roughly 1 meter, but i was 2+ meters away.
Maybe the AF box is too big? Should i narrow it? I havent tried if it works on X-pro 1, do know that it works on X100s... but i want it as large as possible.
When it comes to portraits and "macro" it works great.
This is f/8

I love the quality of the lens, i got no problems with hunting AF or slow AF, i like the sharpness and the IQ.... it's just that it seems to lock focus on other things than what i aim at, and i do see the white boxes and wich one is green, but when i look at the photo it still locks on something else.
Might have to play around a bit more.
