I've decided to walk away from wildlife for a little while to learn the people/lighting side and grow my business. While it pains me to do this, I'm going to sell I consider the greatest single lens I've ever had.
Up for sale is one very clean, used but cared for 600II. Sale will include everything a new one comes with, including the original box, as well as a Lens Coat Max-4 cover. I bought the lens new in September from Adorama and it has been in my possession only ever since.
In fair and open disclosure, the lens fell hood first into some freshwater about 1 month ago. It was immediately cleaned by me and sent to CPS. CPS gave it a week long through clean and check and came back saying there was NO water that ever entered the lens and it is good as new. While there, they went ahead and cleaned it and completed a focus calibration as it was slightly front focusing. Outside of this one mishap, the lens has never been dropped, abused or otherwise thrown around.
Given this fact, and that most on the board have sold in the $10,500 range, I am going to sell it for $10,000 SHIPPED. I will accept checks from well-established members (20+ 100% positive feedbacks) or PayPal, but you will be responsible for the fees. I can also take a CC from established members.
At this time, I am not inclined to accept any trades, but you can feel free to ask. Never hurts, but be prepared to be turned down.
