by far my favorite 50mm lens I ever owned, way better than the Canon 1.8 and even the Canon 50mm 1.4 that I also owned before.

hate to sell it but it's a last ditch effort to pay bills until my next paycheck.
(being a college student sucks lol)

It's a Cosina 50mm 1.7 in M42 mount. (Sharp at even 1.7)

sample pics taken with this lens can be seen here: (scroll down for the good samples, the early ones were when i barely got into photography)
https://www.flickr.com …a/sets/72157630767519634/ (external link)

I have the adapters included to use this lens on any canon EOS camera ever made from 1987 to 2015 everything, t2i t31 rebels, 60D 70D, 5D 6D etc.

works perfectly, no metering issues, I used in in AV and full auto as well.

if it says Canon EOS on the camera IT WILL FIT IT. aka ALL CANON DSLRs

(I have the adapter for the EOS M as well if someone need one, will toss that one in for $10)

Cosina makes some of the most expensive and best glass, they make all the current Zeiss and Leica Voigtlander lenses that are top of the line. They've also made camera bodies for Canon and Nikon.

This one is truly special lens, it can also swirl the bokeh which there only around 10 SLR lens models in existence that can do that, out of thousands and thousands ever made.

(usually only can be done at near MFD and 1.7)

great condition, just some normal wear on the body. everything else works 100%.
lens is free of fungus and oil on the aperture blades.

will come with (2) M42 to Canon EOS adapters, manual focus so perfect for video as well as stills.(the 5DM3/EOS M are the only ones who require the non chipped adapter, which is also included)

comes with a 2X teleconverter that turns it into a 100mm f/2.8 so you basically get two lenses for the price of one. still gives great results as seen here(shot wide open):

a one off custom lens hood (Aluminum body wrapped in carbon fiber look vinyl)

52mm front lens cap, M42 rear lens cap.

asking $100 shipped

open to best offers!
Keep in mind you're getting $80-100 in just extras, the lens is worth $100+ in itself, paypal feels and shipping is going to add another $15, over $215+ wroth of stuff, I'm already loosing A TON at $100.

(if best offer is submitted buyer pays for shipping and PayPal fees on top of the offered price, if my asking price is taken then I pay for them)

looks like a really cool kit, GLWS

I would buy it but I know I would only play with it once and then never again

I used it more than my autofocus 50s, it was that good.

Also I sometimes shot shows in almost complete darkness (our venues suck here)

My Canon 1.8 and 1.4 would not focus thankfully I had this one to save my butt.

My STM lens would focus, hoping canon makes a 50mm stm someday.
