Okay, I need help and am finding conflicting information on the web regarding this. I'm finally upgrading my computer (9 year old Dell) to a different brand with more current offerings featuring the i7-4790 processor and the Nvidia GTX 960 graphics card and should be here within the next few days. From what I'm seeing, Adobe PS / Lightroom 5 will only render the 10 bit color output through the Nvidia Quadro cards and not the GeForce ones. Is this true? The main reason I'm asking is I'm trying to pick out a monitor and I've decided on the Asus PA279Q due it's ability for the 10 bit rendering along with other features. I haven't ordered the monitor yet but I'd hate to drop that kind of coin if I'm not going to see its full benefit and I do plan on using the Display Port 1.2 connection. The computer will be used for photography editing and gaming probably along the lines of a 70/30 mix. Is anyone else using a similar card / 10 bit IPS monitor / editing programs and if so, are you able to get the full 10 bit color output? Has Adobe made changes so they now, for a lack of better words, "recognize" the GeForce cards structure to give the 10 bit? If not, are there other programs I should consider? Am I completely off the mark here and need to quit overthinking this?

Here's the link to the info I found:

Here's the card:

And the monitor:

Thanks for any help or guidance you can offer.
