Is anyone aware of an adapter to convert a Bowens mount to an Alien Bees/Paul C Buff speedring?

I have some Godex S-Type brackets, which only come with Bowens mount, for my speedlights. I'd like to use my light modifiers with Alien Bees speed rings (or the PCB Beauty Dish with no removable speed ring) on the Godex brackets occasionally. My favorite softbox requires me to remove 8 small screws and completely disassemble the mount to change speedrings. What I was hoping to do is find something that will adapt the Bowens mount on the Godex bracket to an Alien Bees/PCB spring-loaded, 4-finger mount.

Anyone ever see such a thing?

I thought of that, but don't know how to handle the clamps.

One issue that you may encounter if you build such an adapter is in the flash tube not being far enough into the modifier to be fully effective. Some of these flash adapters, that are already available for switching out mounts, vari the distance that the flash tube is positioned into the modifier. I modified my PCB Omni to be used on my Indra 500's and I had to use the shallowest Bowens adapter that I had in order to place the flash tube, of the indra, far enough into the Omni to be fully effective. You can really degrade the performance of a modifier if the flash tube is not properly positioned in the modifier.

Actually, that is one of the reasons why I want to keep the PCB mount on the modifiers and adapt the Godex S brackets. The speedlights are more directional and I can slide them further into the mount within the S brackets.

If Godex made a PCB-mount version of the S-type bracket I'd be a happy camper.

Actually, using a screwdriver is faster than turning thumbscrews. I just need to keep one in my bag.

I could be wrong. But I'm pretty fast with a screwdriver. Once I break the screw loose I can spin the screwdriver by the shaft and have the screw out in a jiffy.
