I'm a photographer and I like personality tests, and when I see a funny one and send it over to my friends in Skype, I mostly get replies from my friends who are photographers. Most of other people ignore such messgaes (and yes, I know it is not a good idea to annoy my skype contacts by sending them links, but I cannot resist when I see something interesting).
Example - yesterday I have taken
personality test composed by Dalai Lama
and I have immediately sent it over to all my friends.
Are creative people more interested in exploring their inner world?

Well, my attitudes to such a test would be:
1) I don't give a damn
2) It is none of their (the company creating it) business
And as someone else has mentioned creativity - what is creativity anyway? A joke from my undergraduate time:
Mathematician 1: Have you heard about xyz who dropper maths and became a poet?
Mathematician 2: I'm not surprised, he wasn't creative enough to be a mathematician.
-> Fiddling with mathematical formulae or writing code would not be what most people would consider being creative, but it is.
(In case you are curious, I have a BSc in Mathematics and spent the last 3.5 years dealing with a combination of chemistry as well as some programming. But I have no idea when my thesis gets submitted... yet...)
I'd rather suggest something else:
Online media favours those with a slightly narcissistic streak - especially sites like Facebook and Twitter, these people would obviously like such "tests" to show how "good" they are.
This does not apply to forums by default because their primary motivation is not to "show off" but to share. Galleries such as Flickr or 500px can be used for both endeavours, to share or to show off or both.
