I had my new (to me) 7D out today at some Little-League spring training. I would have done better with my 60D. I am looking for suggestions for EOS 7D Auto-Focus Tutorials.

I had it set to ignore interruptions (like base-runners) and tracking priority. That didn't go well. I did better when I set it maintain fast tracking on the chosen focus point. That worked better mainly because I couldn't keep the center expansion on the intended player. My skills certainly need improvement. I may as well learn the camera while I am practicing.

Thanks

There are some Canon tutorials at http://learn.usa.canon.com …ls/eos_7d_tutorials.shtml (external link). You can even load them on a card and watch on the camera LCD.

I saw that one. I don't see how to watch them on my computer. 22" screen vs. 3" makes a difference. EDIT: got it, thanks. DUh!

Additional info.: I was using my 100-400L at the ballpark. It was a bit long. Perhaps the 70-200 f/4 would have been better.

Rudy Winston did a series of videos on the 7D a few years ago. They were available through the B & H Event Space, but I'm not sure they're still available since B & H moved their content to YouTube. If you haven't done so already, it also helps to go through the instruction manual.

Those are the videos I was referring to. Glad to see they're still around.
