I recently started varnishing my prints so they can be framed without glass.
The prints are on Red River's Aurora art natural paper which is a 100% cotton rag paper.
I'm using Breathing Color's Timeless varnish which is water based and I'm using a roller to apply. The results are wonderful.
The only problem I'm having is lifting the print off the table after rolling. They want to stick to the table and getting them up without tearing or wrinkling the paper is problematic.
Anyone else run into this problem? If so, any tricks to deal with it? I'm considering using sheets of wax paper beneath the prints.
Any thoughts much appreciated.

I use cheap plastic table clothes beneath the prints when I roll BC Timeless. Does the trick. I pick up 100' rolls of the plastic table covers from a fabric store.
