Been keeping the camera in the car on my daily commute to and from work and managed to capture a few images of some white tailed deer that frequent the area around the mine where I work. I settled on this one.

Thank you. Love the hobby.... so much to learn. I plan on doing the rental thing later this spring and trying a lens with much more reach than the 70-200.

Great shot John, love the crispness to the shot and the subjects,(wish it had more of the foreground though in the shot).

Thanks. I appreciate the positive feedback. I would have preferred a little more interesting foreground as well. The deer were across on the other side of a very barren snow-covered field grazing on that little patch of grass. there was so little detail in the expanse of snow between them and me that I chose to eliminate it. I wondered whether I was a little to aggressive with the crop.
