nice shot. good colors, good exposure. like the movement in the water

i took it into photoshop and did a -3 lens correction on it, which i think helped. The white rail is just fading too far back, the correction helps bring it forward a bit. I like the water marker on the left but the tiny sliver of building above it is a bit distracting, leaving me to wonder what it is. Might like to see either more of it or none of it.

I agree the silver part of the gate is a little distracting and I will remove that from the picture.

I also like the -3 lens correction works well in bringing forward the white rail.

Don't know if I am a fan of the water level numbers on the left, other than that, very nice composition and light, and the use of SS for silky smooth water.
