Waikiki at night and small church in Yosemite National Park. Both pictures are straight out of the camera. I am VERY new to DSLR photography and these are some of my first attempt in the creative zone. I also am having trouble making the picture fall within the requirements for uploading. Hope this worked.

These are beautiful! The first shot is really nice, but the second might need slight contrast to really pop out the greens and greys of the trees, but great work!!!

I like the night shot- very nice. I agree with Del about the second- it could use a boost in saturation to make the Church 'pop'.

The night shot is just a little too bright, in my opinion.

However, the landscape with the church is just absolutely delightful. Everything worked on that shot - it's a keeper.

I think it was very good that you were able to get back far enough to get all that in. It gives the picture scale. The shades of the colors are very nice.

Delightful picture - congratulations!
